Container Refurbishing

System for inexpensive refurbishing or volume expansion of containers or tanks.

Changed conditions, material wear, changes in the filling medium – these are just a few of the factors that lead to the replacement of containers used in industry or communal sewage treatment plants. Quantities change and existing containers are too small – these problems frequently arise.

In both cases the mobile machine technology from Lipp using the Lipp Dual-Seam System offers a solution that is just as simple as it is inexpensive and extraordinarily stable. Containers can be installed on site in any required sizes and fit on an existing steel or armoured (reinforced) concrete basin using a mobile crane. In the process, the existing container volume is utilized, eliminating the need for expensive demolition work.

The advantages at a glance:
  • Use of the existing container volume
  • High stability, freedom from leaks and safety
  • Can be combined with a broad range of accessories
  • Continuous adaptation to existing container sizes
  • Low investment and maintenance costs
  • Short assembly times

The choice of materials from which the containers are produced is also variable and is optimally matched to the content. Verinox, the combination of materials developed by Lipp from galvanised steel (exterior of steel containers) with stainless steel (interior of containers) particularly distinguishes itself due to the excellent cost-benefit ratio it offers.
